General Waste and Recycling Services

Total Waste Managers is able to service all types of waste; and whilst we aim for 100% recycling through pre-segregation, there’s always a proportion of general waste that still has to be handled. We’re able to offer a comprehensive range of services to collect general waste from your premises.  Firstly Total Waste Managers will visit each of your sites to work with you to develop your waste strategy, and advise which containers would be most suited to your needs.

General Waste

For general waste, we can offer collection in the following containers:

• 240Ltr, 660Ltr, 1100Ltr wheelie bin.
• FEL (front end loader).
• REL (rear end loader).
• RoRo (roll-on, roll-off).
• Compactors.
• All size skip containers.

Total Waste Managers works with local and regional contractors across the UK, which gives us access to some of the best Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) in the country. This allows us to maximise our recycling opportunities while protecting our clients from exposure to the ongoing increases in landfill tax.  MRF’s are designed to handle a range of recyclables and are used to sort and remove recyclables from waste collections. The waste will be sorted by a number of different processes to segregate out the waste streams indicated in the graphic overleaf. These will then be recycled while the remaining waste will be either incinerated or sent to landfill.
